Pinpoint

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy describes exactly what Pinpoint Today Answer (https://pinpointtodayanswer.org) does with your data. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we store on your device

  • Your theme preference (light/dark), saved in localStorage.
  • Pinpoint Unlimited practice statistics (streaks, solved counts), saved in localStorage only.

This data never leaves your browser. Clearing your browser storage removes it completely; the practice page also has a reset button.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic (page views, approximate region, device type). GA4 sets first-party cookies (e.g. _ga) and processes a truncated IP address; we never see or store full IPs, and we don't use analytics data for advertising. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies. You can opt out of GA4 with any tracker-blocking browser extension or by disabling cookies.

What our servers see

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and request metadata to serve pages and protect against abuse. Practice-mode guesses are sent to our server to be checked against the answer; they are not logged, stored or linked to you.

What we don't do

  • No accounts, no email addresses, no newsletters.
  • No advertising cookies, no ad networks, no remarketing.
  • No sale or sharing of personal data with anyone.

Changes

If we add advertising or additional data collection in the future, this page will be updated before any such change goes live. Questions: [email protected].
